Serie A club Lazio’s president Claudio Lotito has stated that Goran Pandev, Cristian Ledesma and Lorenzo De Silvestri can leave the club if their valuation is met.

The trio have been linked with moves away from the Stadio Olimpico this summer, with Pandev and Ledesma almost certain to leave the club.

Pandev, who has scored 48 goals in 159 league games, is said to have interested Juventus and Tottenham while a move to Germany has also been mooted.

Meanwhile, Ledesma is thought to be close to a move to Turin based giants Juventus, although Inter and Fiorentina have also reportedly expressed an interest.

Youth team graduate De Silvestri could also be on his way out with Genoa linked, leaving Lazio fans fearing the worst ahead of the new season.

However Lotito has promised that the three players will not be sold on the cheap and will only leave if their valuation is met.

“Lazio didn’t put Pandev, Ledesma or De Silvestri up for sale,” he said. “They want to leave and we agreed a departure for a certain sum.”

“Should that sum arrive, they will leave – otherwise, they will stay.”

But Lotito has also stated that new players will be bought into the club during the summer transfer window, calming a panicky response from fans.

“We thought to do a market campaign with only a few changes, but should in the meantime a few players change their intentions, Lazio will take care of this,” he added.

“But supporters must be tranquil, the players that would have to arrive will be stronger than the ones that will leave.”
