Varane wants Manchester United switch

According to a recent report from AS, Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane has made a move to Manchester United his priority.

The belief is that he’s doing this as he loves the history and “greatness” behind the Red Devils in comparison to their city rivals Manchester City.

Varane is currently featuring for France at Euro 2020 but beyond that, his future in the sport has been called into serious question. He’s already achieved everything he could possibly want to achieve during his stint at the Bernabeu and instead of walking away, he wants to challenge himself even further – and get paid handsomely to do so.

Manchester United have been tracking him for quite some time and it feels as if this is the closest they’ve ever been to getting a deal over the finish line, although the ongoing Euros could prevent that as we get closer and closer to the new domestic season.
