Jurgen Klopp knew perfectly what he was investing money into as proven on many occasions this season when Liverpool goalkeeper proved his worth and world class.
Alisson saved Liverpool in the Merseyside derby against Everton whereas he put in another commanding display at Burnley and made a direct contribution to the win towards the end of the game.
It was in stoppage-time that Alisson leapt to his right to pull a remarkable save on Ben Mee’s header while he then expertly kept the ball in play and launched a throw to Daniel Sturridge which led to Shaqiri’s goal.
