Villarreal make Karl Toko Ekambi approach

La Liga outfit Villarreal are said to have tabled a €16 million offer in attempt to land the Angers striker Karl Toko Ekambi this summer.

According to reports coming from L’Equipe, the Ligue 1 side are bracing for summer bids for their in-form striker who is attracting plenty of interest from around the European continent.

The likes of Newcastle United, Brighton and Everton have all been linked with the Cameroon striker who netted 17 goals this season and added 4 assists for Angers.

The 25-year-old hit double figures in terms of goals while he also impressed with his quality displays overall that made him one of Ligue 1’s hottest commodities.

Angers are well aware of the growing interest for their player and will reportedly request up to €25 million for the Cameroon international which would make him the most expensive player in club history.
