Villarreal’s Rossi hopes to return to Italy

(GSM) – Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi is desperately seeking a return to Italy.

Rossi was linked with several Serie A clubs during the last transfer window but a deal couldn’t be reached with any of the interested clubs. The former Manchester United striker hopes an agreement can be reached in the next transfer window.

“I really hope it can happen,” said Rossi. “I don’t know how things went during the last transfer session.

“For me any club will do. We’ll see how things pan out in the future.

“The important thing is I am hoping to return to Serie A as soon as possible.”
