Vinicius rules out January move despite ‘double standards’ at Real

Vinicius Junior is reportedly extremely unhappy with head coach Zinedine Zidane’s recent decisions. According to AS, the youngster’s camp see double standards involved when it comes to the way he is being treated when compared with what’s been going on with Gareth Bale.

The Spanish press severely criticized the Welshman for posing with a banner saying “Wales. Golf. Madrid. In that order.” and his commitment has been deeply questioned, though the club, including Zidane, have played the incident down. And despite not being with the team for a month and a half, Bale has been included in the squad to face Real Sociedad on Saturday evening, while Vinicius, who trained hard with the team in that period, hasn’t.

Zidane has been saying that the 19-year-old Brazilian has to earn his spot on the training pitch, but Vinicius believes he has been doing enough.

Nonetheless, there appear to be no issues between the player and the coach, and Vinicius continues to rule out a January departure from the club.
