Watford interested in Welbeck

According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, Premier League side Watford are currently in talks with Danny Welbeck over a deal that would see the English forward sign for the Hornets on a free. Welbeck was on a solid run of form with the Gunners last season before being struck down with an injury that wound up leading to him getting released from the club. A lot of Arsenal supporters were upset that he wasn’t given the chance to prove what he could do all over again, but with Aubameyang and Lacazette in the team, he probably wouldn’t have had much game time anyway.

The belief is that this deal isn’t restricted by the same timing issues as most transfers, because free transfers can be completed after the 5pm deadline which is set for tomorrow.

Therefore, Watford can take as much time as they possibly need with this move.
