Werner available for £30 million?

According to a recent report from Liverpool Echo, the belief is that RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner could now be available for a fee of around £30 million during the summer transfer window.

Werner is widely considered to be one of the most exciting forwards in world football today, with Liverpool being the frontrunners in the race to try and bring him to Anfield. While there are still a good few months remaining in the current domestic campaign, Liverpool will want to get a deal over the finish line prior to the start of UEFA Euro 2020 – and as such, they’ll be eager to hash out the negotiations sooner rather than later.

While the price could change depending on how the rest of the season goes, it doesn’t seem like the Reds’ interest is going to waiver.

Whether or not any other clubs get involved too, though, is still up for date.
