West Brom and Brighton eye Andre Ayew

West Bromwich Albion and Brighton and Hove Albion are interested in signing Andre Ayew from Swansea City before the summer transfer window in England closes on Friday, according to The Daily Mail. It has been reported that Swansea manager Steve Cooper is not sure if the 30-year-old – who can play as a winger or as upfront – will be at the club.

Ayew is in his second spell at Swansea at the moment, having returned to the Welsh club in 2018 after a disappointing spell at West Ham United. The Ghana international spent the 2018-29 campaign on loan at Fenerbahce in Turkey.

According to WhoScored, Ayew has scored one goal and provided one assist in four Championship matches for Swansea so far this season. During the 2019-20 campaign, the forward made 45 starts and one substitute appearance in the league for the Swans, scoring 16 goals and providing seven assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
