West Brom want £10m for Johnstone

According to a recent report from the Evening Standard, West Bromwich Albion have placed a £10 million price tag on goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.

Throughout the course of the Premier League season there’s been one constant – and that’s the success of Johnstone. He may not have always been able to prevent the Baggies from dropping points but one thing he’s certainly done is put himself in the shop window.

He may not be viewed as the very best keeper in all of English football, but he’s definitely up there with the best of them.

Some would probably argue that Johnstone could potentially even go for more than that but at this moment in time, West Brom may not have any options as they stare down the barrel of relegation.

As a club they’re struggling but Johnstone has the potential to go on and do some great things, just probably not in the Black Country.
