West Ham go after Jordan

According to a recent report from Marca, West Ham United are more than willing to pay the £13.4 million buyout clause fee in order to secure the official signing of Eibar midfielder Joan Jordan. The 24 year old has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal, with many considering him to be a possible replacement for Aaron Ramsey. However, those links haven’t stopped West Ham from pushing forward with the idea of going after him.

After completing the signing of Fornals last week it seems as if the Hammers are going full steam ahead with their plan to overhaul their squad, to the point where they are once again considered to be contenders in the race for the European spots. Arsenal aren’t going to give up without a fight, but it definitely feels as if West Ham are slowly starting to become notable players within the landscape of English football once again.
