West Ham plot £30m move for Ismaila Sarr

West Ham United are interested in signing Ismaila Sarr from Watford in the January transfer window, according to The Sun. It has been reported by the British tabloid that the Hammers are ready to make a bid of £30 million to secure the services of Sarr from the Championship club.

The Hammers are on the hunt for a new forward following the departure of Sebastien Haller to Ajax. Michail Antonio is now West Ham’s only striker, but he is actually a winger who is playing upfront.

Sarr is a very versatile attacking player who can operate out wide or down the middle. The 22-year-old has scored four goals and provided two assists in 18 Championship matches for Watford so far this season, while during the 2019-20 campaign, he scored five goals and gave four assists in 22 Premier League starts for the Hornets, according to WhoScored.
