Newly promoted Serie A outfit Brescia have completed the signing of youngster Fabio Daprela from West Ham United for an undisclosed fee. The 19 year old has signed a five year contract with the Biancoazzurri.
The Zurich born defender joined Grasshoppers in 2003 and was with them till 2009, when he followed in the footsteps of compatriot Valon Behrami by signing for the Hammers. He made his first team debut for the London club in January 2010 in a Cup fixture against local rivals Arsenal.
Daprela has regularly represented Switzerland at youth levels and was part of their 2008 UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship squad.
