West Ham want Eriksen?

According to a recent report from Eurosport, West Ham United have emerged as shock contenders to sign Christian Eriksen.

The former Tottenham Hotspur star clearly hasn’t been enjoying his stay at Inter Milan as much as he would’ve hoped, despite only being there for less than a year. Many fans and pundits alike are of the belief that it’s only a matter of time before he departs, and it really is anyone’s guess as to where he’s going to end up.

West Ham would definitely be viewed as one of the underdogs in the race for his signature, but based on the Hammers’ start to the new Premier League season, it may be more plausible than most of us first thought.

Eriksen’s best days have come in England’s top flight and if none of the other big boys are all too bothered about making a bid, West Ham could be in with a chance.
