Who is reportedly on Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool wishlist this summer?

Watching Everton claim their first victory at Anfield since 1999 last weekend, it is no secret that Liverpool are in the midst of a domestic nightmare.

While Jurgen Klopp’s side might have picked up an early Champions League advantage against RB Leipzig last week, it appears that the Reds have already relinquished their Premier League crown.

Freefalling their way down to sixth in the table and now simply in a battle to secure themselves a top-four finish, Liverpool have lost each of their last four top-flight matchups on the bounce.

Although Klopp’s side might have been without the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez due to long-term injury issues this season, many around Anfield feel that a shake-up is needed this summer.

After electing to not break the bank during the January transfer window, we have taken a look at three stars who are reportedly on Klopp’s radar come the summer.

Youssef En-Nesyri – Sevilla

Firing another blank against their bitter rivals last weekend, Liverpool’s continued issues in the final third certainly haven’t gone unnoticed on Merseyside.

Struggling to create chances and with Mohamed Salah’s own future called into doubt earlier in the year, Klopp is reportedly on the lookout to bring in a new central striker this summer.

If Klopp is serious about bringing in some competition for Roberto Firmino when the window reopens, 90min announced earlier in the week that Liverpool have their sights set on Sevilla talisman, Youssef En-Nesyri.

Enjoying what has been a free-scoring campaign with the Spanish outfit, the 23-year-old has already notched himself 13 La Liga goals this season, one more than Real Madrid ace Karim Benzema.

Really hitting the ground running after making the move from Leganes last year, this is not the first time that the Morocco international has been linked with a Premier League switch.

Last month, En-Nesyri was subject to an inquiry from West Ham with it reported that the Hammers tabled a £27million initial offer.

Nikola Milenkovic – Fiorentina

While Liverpool might have brought in both Ben Davies and Ozan Kabak in emergency moves last month, it will be no surprise to many that Klopp is desperate to add more defensive reinforcements come the summer.

Although the Reds might be hopeful that both Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez can feature at some point this season, Joel Matip is another central defender dealing with a string of injury issues.

Despite previously being linked with Wolves captain Conor Coady, Sky Germany are reporting that Liverpool have made contact with Fiorentina over a potential move for Nikola Milenkovic.

Gaining a string of plaudits from across Italy this season, the Serbian international is still just 23 and appears to be inching closer to a lucrative move away from La Viola as he enters the final year of his contract.

Valued in the region of £30million, Sky Germany also reported that Manchester United have shown some interest in bringing Milenkovic to Old Trafford when the window reopens.

Raphinha – Leeds

With Diogo Jota becoming an immediate hit at Anfield last year before suffering a long-term knee injury, reports over the past week have suggested that Klopp could be interested in another exciting Premier League forward.

Scoring a sublime free-kick and topping off what was a Man of the Match display in Leeds’ 3-0 romp against Southampton earlier in the week, new arrival Raphinha has continued to impress many.

Really hitting the ground running since making a £17million move from French outfit Rennes last summer, some feel that the 24-year-old could be on many a wishlist when the window reopens.

With Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher believing that Raphinha would be a fantastic addition to compete with the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, The Daily Mail reported earlier in the month that Klopp is keeping tabs on the Leeds ace.

However, continuing to attract a host of admirers, Italian outlet Tutto Mercato have also reported that Manchester United are another side weighing up a potential swoop this summer.
