Wilfried Gnonto wants to leave Leeds United for Everton

Leeds United winger Wilfried Gnonto wants to join Everton in the summer transfer window, according to Football Transfers. The report has claimed that Premier League club Everton want to sign Gnonto from Championship side Leeds, and that the Italy international winger himself is pushing for a move to Goodison Park.

Daniel Farke’s Leeds want £25 million in transfer fees for Gnonto, but Everton believe that the Whites could eventually sell the Italy international for less than that. Gnonto moved to Leeds in the summer of 2022 and played well for the West Yorkshire club in the Premier League, but he could not prevent the Whites from getting relegated to the Championship.`

Gnonto made 14 starts and 10 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Leeds last season. The 19-year-old Italy international winger scored two goals and gave four assists in those matches. It will be interesting to see if Everton do eventually get the teenager.
