Wilshere set to fight for West Ham future

According to a recent report from Sunday Mirror, former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is ready to fight for his future at West Ham United.

At one point it did seem as if Wilshere was going to be the future of midfield success in English football but over the course of the last few years, his career has been ravaged by a string of high profile injuries.

Hammers fans understand that he has the potential to go on and do some remarkable things with the club, but at the same time, his career could fizzle out in the blink of an eye. Recent reports have indicated that there had been talk of terminating his contract and while David Moyes may have denied the rumours, the sound of silence from elsewhere can often be deafening.

It’s a big decision to make but at this moment in time, all Wilshere can do is focus on trying to be as consistent as he possibly can.
