Wolves go back after Vitinha

According to a recent report from Record, Wolves sent a scout to watch Vitinha during Porto’s win over Tondela last weekend.

Vitinha, 21, spent a season out on loan with Wolverhampton Wanderers before returning to the Portuguese giants during the summer. Many fans are of the belief that the youngster could easily serve as an important piece of the puzzle in their first team, and view this as a second opportunity to embed him back into the squad.

It’s safe to say Vitinha wasn’t given as many chances to shine in the system under Nuno Espirito Santo but with the club needing a few more bodies in during the January transfer window, Vitinha could be the perfect candidate.

Depth is one of the main things missing from Wolves’ squad under Bruno Lage, largely due to Nuno’s philosophy, but Vitinha could do a whole lot more than that with respect to his own attributes.
