According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Wolverhampton Wanderers have entered into the conversation to try and sign Hirving Lozano from Napoli during the summer transfer window. Wolves will be joining Everton in making a play for Lozano as speculation continues to mount over his future in Italian football.

The main hope from Wolves is that the presence of Lozano, a Mexican international, could prove to be the difference between Raul Jimenez snubbing a move to Manchester United or going.

While there are plenty of different factors in play aside from that, it certainly appears as if the Jimenez to United rumours are gathering some momentum. However, with that being said, Lozano would be a world class signing in his own right and if Wolves are serious about making it happen, then it’s probably time for Wanderers fans to start getting very excited about the direction that their club is heading in.
