Wolves renew Botman interest

According to a recent report from L’Equipe, Wolverhampton Wanderers are still interested in trying to sign Sven Botman.

The Lille defender was a big summer transfer target for them but for whatever reason, they couldn’t get a deal over the finish line. Many Wolves fans pointed to the board’s inability to pull the trigger as a big reason for that but whatever the case may be, we’d imagine they’ll be happy to see a plan being put back in place – potentially in time for the January transfer window.

Wolves currently find themselves in sixth place in the Premier League and many believe they’ve still got a whole lot of potential as the season progresses. Alas, one area that needs some reassurance is their defence, and Botman could provide some much-needed cover.

At the age of just 21, this has the potential to be one of the most important signings of the Fosun era.
