Xhaka’s Roma move stalls?

According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Granit Xhaka’s move from Arsenal to Roma isn’t likely to be finalised anytime soon.

The reason for this is because the two clubs are currently at a bit of a stalemate regarding the final fee for the move to be completed, with some Arsenal fans still wondering whether or not Xhaka will stay where he is.

The Swiss star always tends to be viewed as someone the Gunners will build their midfield around but if the rumours are true about the club buying Ruben Neves, that may no longer be the case.

Xhaka has definitely had his fair share of ups and downs in North London and nobody is pretending like that’s not the case, but Mikel Arteta has to be really careful about every decision he makes now.

If he sells him and it goes wrong, it could wind up costing him his job.
