Zidane wants Premier League test

According to L’Equipe, Zinedine Zidane is interested in a return to management – but not in La Liga, in the English Premier League. The Frenchman has been out of work since leaving Real Madrid a few months ago, and the report indicates that he’ll be aiming to re-enter the world of football next season. Some have even suggested that he could be a potential successor to Jose Mourinho at Manchester United, with the Portuguese boss growing more and more frustrated with his position at Old Trafford.

The 46-year-old managed to successfully guide Real to three consecutive Champions League titles before walking away from his position, leaving many confused as to why he’d exit the game when he’s on top. It doesn’t seem like he’ll be out of the spotlight for too long, however, as fans around the world continue to call for the World Cup winner to return to the touchline sooner rather than later.
