A London club has offered Memphis Depay £200,000 per week

Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol has reported that a club in London has offered Barcelona forward Memphis Depay a weekly salary of £200,000 per week.

Depay is in talks with Barcelona over mutually terminating his contract so that he can move to Juventus on a free transfer, but a club in London are keen on bringing the former Manchester United forward back to the Premier League.

Solhekol said on Sky Sports News (7:54pm, August 11, 2022): “Juventus want to sign him, but they want to sign him as a free agent. The player himself would like to come back to England if he doesn’t get a move to Juventus. He wants to move to a big, big club in the Premier League.

“Of course we know he used to play for Manchester United. Now, I have been told this evening that a club in London have made an offer for him to Barcelona and they are willing to pay the player £200,000 a week.

“So if the deal with Juventus doesn’t work out, there is interest in the Premier League in Memphis Depay. He could be coming back, a London club willing to pay him £200,000 a week.”
