AC Milan are interested in signing Mauro Icardi from Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window, according to Fichajes. It has been reported that Milan wanted to sign Icardi in the summer transfer window and so did Juventus, who signed Moise Kean.
PSG did not want to sell Icardi in the summer transfer window either, but the striker is going to struggle for playing time this season due to the French club signing Lionel Messi. This means that Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are the three players upfront, with Icardi likely to be a substitute player when everyone is fit and firing.
Icardi, a former Inter Milan player, has scored three goals in five Ligue 1 matches so far this season, and scored seven goals and gave three assists in 11 Ligue 1 starts for PSG during the 2020-21 campaign.
