French media outlet L’Equipe is reporting that AC Milan have agreed a deal to sign Slovakian midfielder Juraj Kucka from Genoa.

The Rossoneri were looking to add a central midfielder to their ranks and they appear to have finally ended the search.

According to L’Equipe, AC Milan have agreed a €3.5 million deal for Juraj Kucka, who will sign a three-year contract at San Siro.

The Rossoneri turned to the Slovakia international after failing to bring Sampdoria’s Roberto Soriano to Milan.

Juraj Kucka, 28, has spent last four and a half years at Stadio Luigi Ferraris, making 122 Serie A appearances and scoring 9 goals.

His new team AC Milan play host to Empoli tomorrow, hoping to make amends for the opening defeat to Fiorentina and they can be backed at 1/2 to claim maximum points.

Sampdoria recruit Argentine midfielder

Serie A leaders Sampdoria have announced the signing of Argentine midfielder Carlos Mario Carbonero from AS Roma.

The Argentine midfielder joins the Blucerchiati on a season-long loan and is expected to increase competition for places in case Roberto Sorano leaves the club.

The 25-year-old did really well during the loan spell with Cesena last season and will now get another opportunity to impress AS Roma officials.

Carlos Carbonero spent the early career in South America, playing for Atletico Hulia, Once Caldas, Estudiantes and Arsenal de Sarandi.

It was at River Plate that he made a name for himself, bagging eight goals in 36 league appearances to earn a lucrative move to AS Roma.

But, given the fierce competition for places at Stadio Olimpico, Carbonero has again been farmed out on loan.

Feyenoord starlet in high demand

Feyenoord forward Elvis Manu is on the radar of several top European sides, according to A Bola.

The 22-year-old is another impressive product of the famed youth academy at De Kuip and he is slowly becoming an important member of the senior side.

Manu enjoyed a very good season last term after returning from a loan spell at Cambuur, scoring 7 goals and producing 4 assists in 27 Eredivisie outings.

And it appears he has caught the eye of quite a few clubs in the process, with Sporting Lisbon reportedly leading the chase for his services.

The Lions have been keeping close tabs on the Netherlands Under-21 international with a view of luring him to Estadio Jose Alvalade in the near future.

However, A Bola suggests that the likes of Bayer Leverkusen, Watford and Brighton are also in the mix.
