Adams wants to succeed Wenger at Arsenal

The Gunners legend Tony Adams has confirmed that he wants to become Arsenal manager in the future.

Adams was axed from the job as Portsmouth manager during a brief stint at the Premier League club.

“I have been a coach for seven years now and my plan is to have a long-term career,” Adams told El Pais.

“I do not want to come good too early, like Jose Mourinho. What is he going to do after Inter?

“I did work at Feyenoord, where I linked up with [Royston] Drenthe and at Portsmouth. I dream of coaching Arsenal but I still need to learn.”

Oh dear the usual drivel from Tone. We used to love you as a player but you are frankly quite a rubbish manager and i think you need to prove yourself at the lower levels before even being considered for a Premiership club, let alone a Top 4 club like Arsenal.
