Antonio Conte wants Maxwel Cornet at Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Maxwel Cornet from Burnley in the summer transfer window, according to The Mirror. The report has claimed that Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte personally wants to sign Cornet, who can play as a winger, a full-back or forward.

Cornet joined Burnley from Lyon in the summer of 2021. The Ivory Coast international made 21 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Clarets this season, scoring nine goals and giving one assist in the process.

Burnley paid Lyon an initial £10.2 million for Cornet. Now that the Clarets have been relegated to the Championship, a release clause of £15 million in his contract has now been activated.
