Arsenal are interested in signing Ezri Konsa from Premier League rivals Aston Villa in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that the Gunners are tracking the 24-year-old defender, as they want a senior centre-back for next season and beyond.

The report has claimed that Villa manager Steven Gerrard has told Konsa’s agent that he is willing to listen to offers for the defender in the summer transfer window. The former England Under-21 international has scored two goals in 24 Premier League appearances so far this season.

Arsenal are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment with 54 points from 29 matches, level on points with fourth-placed and bitter North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, who have played 30 games.
