Arsenal keen on Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich

Arsenal are interested in signing Joshua Kimmich from Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window, according to Football Transfers. The report has claimed that Premier League club Arsenal have approached Bundesliga outfit Bayern for Kimmich, who can play as a midfielder or as a right-back.

Bayern have told Arsenal that they will hold any talks over a move for Kimmich until the end of the season. The Gunners, though, are keen on the Germany international and will ramp up their interest once the season ends. The player is under contract at Bayern until the summer of 2025.

Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 71 points from 31 matches, level on points with second-placed Liverpool. Meanwhile, Bayern currently find themselves second in the Bundesliga table with 60 points from 28 matches, as many as 16 points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen.
