Arsenal linked with Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni

Arsenal are interested in signing Aurelien Tchouameni from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window, according to Football Transfers. The report has claimed that if the Gunners are unable to bring in Moises Caicedo from Brighton and Hove Albion or Romeo Lavia from Southampton, then they will make a move for Madrid and France international defensive midfielder Tchouameni.

Premier League club Arsenal have long admired Tchouameni, but Madrid do not want to sell the France international. Los Blancos president Florentino Pérez has told head coach Carlo Ancelotti to “provide Tchouameni with more minutes next campaign as part of a double-pivot” and will not accept anything less than €100 million for him.

Tchouameni moved to Madrid from AS Monaco in the summer of 2022. The 23-year-old made 24 starts and nine substitute appearances in La Liga for Los Blancos last season, providing four assists in the process. Madrid will aim to win the La Liga title and the UEFA Champions League next season.
