Aston Villa want Manchester United’s Axel Tuanzebe on loan

Aston Villa are interested in signing Axel Tuanzebe from Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to Sky Sports. It has been reported that the Villans want to secure the services of the 23-year-old central defender on a loan deal.

Premier League giants United are open to sending Tuanzebe out on loan this summer, but first the Red Devils want the 23-year-old to sign a new deal. The former England Under-21 international is out of contract at the Red Devils next summer, and the former Premier League champions want him to sign a new deal until 2023.

Raphael Varane is joining United from Spanish and European champions Real Madrid this summer. This would force Tuanzebe to fall further down the pecking order. The 23-year-old centre-back made four starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League, and made one start and two substitute appearances in the Champions League last season.
