Spanish daily newspaper AS understands that Atletico Madrid are considering a move for Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez.

Los Colchoneros are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements with David Villa leaving and Diego Costa set to follow.

And the latest reports suggest that Atletico Madrid could make an assault on Barcelona star Alexis Sanchez.

Diego Simeone is a big fan of the Chilean and he will go the extra mile to try and lure him to Vicente Calderon.

As new Catalans boss Luis Enrique has yet to make a decision on Sanchez, the forward continues to be linked with a number of Europe’s top sides.

Having scored the opening goal in the 3-1 triumph over Australia, the 25-year-old is 13/5 to net against Spain as well.

Barcelona keen on Rojo

Barcelona are readying summer bid for Argentine defender Marcos Rojo, Catalan daily Sport has revealed.

It is believed that Luis Enrique plans to cash in on Adriano Correira and sign a new left-sided defender to act as a back-up to Jordi Alba.

According to Sport, Sporting Lisbon full-back Marcos Rojo is seen as the best man for the job.

The 24-year-old has shown a great deal of potential at Estadio Jose Alvalade, while he has also impressed playing for the national team.

Everything suggests he will be leaving Sporting for greener pastures in the summer, although Barcelona could face a stiff competition from Liverpool and few other top sides.

Marcos Rojo joined the Lions from Spartak Moscow in the summer of 2012 and has since made a total of 49 league appearances, scoring 5 goals.

Porto to bid for Keylor Navas

Primeira Liga outfit FC Porto are hoping to sign Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas from Levante, reports Superdeporte.

The Dragons have already informed the La Liga side of their interest and they are expected to come forward with an official proposal in the coming days.

Even if the highly rated footballer has just one year left on his current deal, Levante continue to refer interested sides to the player’s €10 million release clause.

Keylor Navas has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in La Liga and he has managed stunning 16 clean sheets in 37 league matches last season.

Having also impressed for Costa Rica in their opening World Cup fixture, the 27-year-old should become one of the hottest commodities in the summer transfer window.

Top La Liga sides are also showing interest in his services, but FC Porto look set to become the first club to submit an official proposal.
