Atletico Madrid are competing with Real Madrid for Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah, according to El Gol Digital. It has been reported that defending Spanish champions Madrid want to secure the services of the Egypt international in the summer of 2021, but Los Blancos will have to battle it out with their city rivals Atletico.
Salah is one of the best forwards on the planet and is a world-class player. The former Chelsea player is a potent goalscorer who has been banging in the goals for fun for a while now. According to WhoScored, the 28-year-old has scored 17 goals and provided three assists in 28 Premier League games and has scored five goals and provided one assist in eight Champions League for Liverpool so far this season.
Liverpool are in no pressure to sell any of their best players at the end of the season, and the defending Premier League champions are unlikely to sell Salah on the cheap.
