Atletico Madrid target Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson

Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report in the Spanish news outlet has claimed that Atletico manager Diego Simeone personally wants to bring the former Villarreal striker to the Metropolitano Stadium.

Jackson has been at Chelsea since 2023 when he joined from Villarreal. The 24-year-old Senegal international forward has made 61 appearances for the Blues in two seasons, scoring 30 goals and giving 12 assists in the process.

Chelsea are reportedly ready to offload Jackson in the summer transfer window. The Conference League winners, who will play in the UEFA Champions League next season after finishing in the Premier League top four in the 2024-25 campaign, are willing to accept a loan deal for the striker as long as it comes with an obligation to make it permanent.
