Barcelona keen to keep Sanchez

Barcelona have said that Alexis Sanchez is not for sale after the forward was linked with a move to a number of European clubs, Sky Sports understands.

The Chile international moved to the Nou Camp from Udinese in the summer of 2011, and he has since gone on to make one hundred and forty-one appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring forty-seven goals.

He has been the subject of a number of rumours that he will not be part of new managers Luis Enrique’s plans for next season, though the club have moved to dismiss such reports.

Serie A champions Juventus had been named as potential suitors of the 25 year old, along with Premier League duo Liverpool and Arsenal.

Sanchez is currently preparing for this summer’s World Cup finals in Brazil, where his side will come up against Australia, the Netherlands and holders Spain in the group stages.
