Barcelona linked with Capa as Alena remains under threat

More news about Barcelona. The champions of Spain are reportedly interested in signing Athletic Bilbao full-back Ander Cappa, according to Don Balon.  The 27-year-old is currently valued at around 30 million euros, the report says, as Capa has contributed one goal and four assists in 13 La Liga appearances for Bilbao this season.

However, that seems a bit unrealistic for Barcelona to do, especially for such a high price for a player already 27 years old. Still, if that does not materialize, one other deal might. According to Marca, Carles Alena is the subject of interest from Getafe and he could be leaving the club as early as January 2020.

The Spanish champions are open to sending the 21-year-old midfielder out on loan in January, with Getafe now lined up as a possible next destination. Alena has only played in the La Liga opener for Barcelona, never featuring since and it looks like Ernesto Valverde really does not need him.
