Barcelona offer €15m for a 17-year-old

Barcelona are looking to add new youngsters to their setup and get the players for the future. They already have the teenage star Ansu Fati in their ranks, after he exploded unexpectedly early into the season and now the Blaugrana are looking at another 17-year-old player.

According to Transfermarkt, Barcelona have had a €15m bid for Karim Adeyemi rejected. The youngster plays for Red Bul Salzburg and he is rated as one of Germany’s most promising players. The 17-year-old is on loan at Austrian second-tier side Liefering and has five goals and four assists from 10 league games so far this season, which has made several clubs start paying attention to him.

Salzburg are known for having a great scouting network, as they previously captured Naby Keita and now have Erling Braut Haaland in their ranks. After having a first offer rejected, Barcelona could return for the forward, but some reports even say Liverpool and Arsenal are monitoring Adeyemi as well.
