Big news are coming from Germany! According to France Football, Lucas Hernandez will complete a transfer to Bayern Munich this summer, but it will not be a usual deal. It is expected for this transfer to break all records in the Bundesliga, as the current champions are eager to spend a total of €160m on this deal.
Atletico Madrid defender will be joining Bayern for the €85m that his release clause is at the Spanish club, but not only will Bavarians spend such great sum on a centre-back, they are reportedly ready to spend €75m in wages over the course of the six-year contract. Per such information, Hernandez’s contract would run all the way through June 2025. His yearly salary would be €12.5m or just over €240k per week.
The deal will shatter the Bundesliga transfer record as well as make Hernandez one of the best paid players at Bayern Munich.
