Both teams to score at Brentford vs Swansea 8/11 for Thursday’s Championship contest

Competition: Championship

Market: Both teams to score

Odds: 8/11 @ Bet 365

In what is being billed as a real play-off six-pointer, Brentford will welcome Swansea to Griffin Park on Boxing Day afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, after putting in another impressive display away at league leaders West Brom over the weekend, Brentford have found a route into the top-six and the mood in their camp remains at a high. Led by leading marksman Ollie Watkins who has 13 Championship strikes this season, the Bees have also continued to save their best performances for Griffin Park. Including putting seven past Luton last month, Thomas Frank’s men have won each of the last four matches that they have hosted, a run that also saw them snatch three points off of Fulham a fortnight ago.

As for the visitors, while a torrid run of form entering December may have cost Swansea their play-off status, the Whites have begun to show some much-needed signs of life. Picking up three points away at Luton over the weekend, Steve Cooper’s side have largely displayed their best performances outside of South Wales. The Swans have lost just one of their last seven matches on the road, and know that a shock victory on Thursday would see them reclaim their spot in the top-six. With seven of the last nine combined matches between Swansea and Brentford seeing both teams find the net at full-time, we’re backing a similar outcome on Thursday afternoon.
