Both teams to score at Nottingham Forest vs Blackpool 10/11 for Saturday’s Championship contest

Competition: Championship

Market: Both teams to score

Odds: 10/11 @ 888sport

Two sides who mark their return from the international break riding a recent wave, Nottingham Forest will host Blackpool on Saturday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, while Nottingham Forest might have opened the 2021/22 campaign in the midst of a real nightmare, the Reds are enjoying a new lease of life. Making the decision to bring in Steve Cooper last month, the one-time European champions have managed to find an immediate bounce. Playing their way out of the drop zone and now looking up the table, they were last seen earlier in the month picking up a thumping 3-0 win away at Birmingham. In fact, Forest have collected 10 points from their last four Championship outings. However, now riding a real wave, Saturday’s hosts will be desperate to find a boost at the City Ground. Remarkably, playing out a 1-1 draw against Millwall on September 25th, that was the only home point that Forest have collected so far this season.

As for the visitors, while Blackpool might have only made their Championship return over the summer, the Oranges are enjoying their own purple patch of late. Marking their return from the international break sat in the top-half of the table, Neil Critchley’s side have really gained plenty of plaudits. Last seen earlier in the month picking up an impressive 2-1 win against play-off hopefuls Blackburn on home soil, the Seasiders have also mustered 10 points from their last four outings. With that run highlighted by a 2-1 victory away at Middlesbrough on September 18th, we could have a contest that sees chances at both ends of the pitch this weekend. With Blackpool seeing all five of their Championship away days so far this season finish with both teams finding the net, we’re backing a similar outcome here.
