Both teams to score at Nottingham Forest vs Fulham 4/5 for Sunday’s Championship showdown

Competition: Championship

Market: Both teams to score

Odds: 4/5 @ 888sport

Looking to lay down what would be a real marker on home soil this weekend, Nottingham Forest will welcome Fulham to the City Ground on Sunday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, once again impressing earlier in the week, Nottingham Forest have continued on what has been a remarkable purple patch. Immediately finding their feet under new boss Steve Cooper, the Reds were last seen in midweek picking up a 2-1 victory away at Bristol City. Only continuing to skyrocket their way up the Championship table, the former Swansea manager now finds his side enjoying a four-match winning run. With that run highlighted by back-to-back 3-0 and 3-1 victories against Birmingham and Barnsley, Forest have also collected a hugely impressive 16 points from just their last six second-tier matchups. Last seen at the City Ground picking up a 2-1 win against Blackpool, Cooper’s side could be smelling the chance to make a real statement.

As for the visitors, while Fulham might have entered the international break with a stunning 4-1 defeat away at Coventry earlier in the month, Marco Silva’s men have managed to bounce back. Including landing their own 4-1 romp against west London rivals QPR last weekend, the former Everton boss saw his side claim a routine 2-0 win against Cardiff in midweek. Opening the weekend’s fixtures with their noses just about in the top-two, Fulham will be calling on their attacking talisman to spearhead their charge at the City Ground. Once again finding the net against a downbeat Cardiff earlier in the week, Serbian international Aleksandar Mitrovic has racked up 15 goals for club and country since opening the 2021/22 campaign. In a contest that could see chances at both ends on Sunday, we’re backing both teams to find the net here.
