Brighton and Hove Albion want to sign Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher

Brighton and Hove Albion are interested in signing Conor Gallagher from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that Brighton see the England international midfielder as a readymade replacement for Argentina international midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, who recently joined Liverpool.

Chelsea are keen on signing on Ecuador international midfielder Moises Caicedo and could be willing to include Gallagher in a deal to bring him to Stamford Bridge in London. Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are also interested in Gallagher, who has played seven times for England.

Gallagher made 18 starts and 17 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea last season, scoring three goals and providing one assist in the process. The 23-year-old made two starts and six substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for the London club last season.
