Butland open to loan move

Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland has said that he would be willing to move out on loan again next season should he remain behind Asmir Begovic in the pecking order at the Britannia Stadium, Sky Sports understands.

The 21 year old spent made just three Premier League appearances for under Mark Hughes last season, in between loan spells with Barnsley and Leeds United.

He was overlooked by England manager Roy Hodgson for the national squad for this summer’s World Cup finals, and the former Birmingham City man knows that another move would be vitally important should he fail to become a regular in the Potters first team.

Asmir Begovic is currently with Bosnia and Herzegovina preparing for their first ever game in the World Cup which takes place against Argentina a week on Sunday, and his performances in South America are sure to be monitored by a clutch of potential suitors.
