Caceres will not be leaving Juventus

Juventus defender Martin Caceres’ agent, Daniel Fonseca, does not expect his player to return to Barcelona.

Caceres is currently on loan from Barcelona to the Old Lady until the end of the season and Fonseca admits it is unlikely that the defender will return to the Camp Nou.

“I am very optimistic and I believe he will stay in Turin. Juve have already shown their intention to buy Caceres, and he is doing well. It’s a shame about his recent injury, but he will be back soon,” Fonseca told Tuttosport.

He added: “In future I see him as the heir to Cannavaro. I played with Cannavaro, and the two are very similar, especially in terms of aggression and their will to improve.”
