According to Goal.com, Arsenal could send Calum Chambers out on loan in the January transfer window. The report has claimed that William Saliba and Reiss Nelson could also leave the Gunners on a temporary deal for the rest of the season.
Chambers has been on the books of Arsenal since 2014 and can operate as a central defender or as a right-back. Although the 25-year-old has a lot of potential and has done well when he has been called into action, there have been injury problems in recent times, and there is also competition for places.
It would make sense for the England international to find a club where he can play regular first-team football in the coming weeks and months. With the likes of Gabriel and David Luiz in the squad, it is going to be extremely hard for Chambers to make himself a regular in manager Mikel Arteta’s starting lineup.
