Camoranesi interested in Marseille move

Mauro Camoranesi’s agent has admitted that the Juventus midfielder would be interested in a summer move to French side Marseille.

Camoranesi is out of contract at Juventus at the end of next season, but would consider leaving the Old Lady.

“Of course, Mauro has suitors in Ligue 1,” Camoranesi’s agent, Sergio Fortunato, told Footmercato.

“He came close to joining Lyon in 2006, but [then Juve boss Didier] Deschamps held him back because he was counting on him.

“But if the Marseille coach called now, it is possible that Mauro will accept the transfer.”
