In a friendly played at Barcelona’s Camp Nou, the Catalan selection beat the Colombian nacional team 2-1 with goals from Bojan Krcic and Joan Verdu.

The stadium seemed equally divided between Catalan and Colombian fans, and there wasn’t that much difference on the pitch either. However, at times the Colombians lacked creativity and speed, something the hosts could take advantage of.

Bojan Krcic struck the opener past keeper Julio in the first half and Joan Verdu added the second nine minutes after the break.

Colombia did get a consolation goal in added time, as a defender’s clearance bounced off Freddy Montero’s leg and the ball sailed past the keeper for 2-1.
