Telefoot journalist Julien Maynard has claimed on Twitter that Kurt Zouma is undergoing medical to complete a move from Chelsea to West Ham United. Chelsea and West Ham have agreed on a deal, and the France international central defender is now going to complete the transfer after undergoing a medical.

Zouma made 22 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea last season, scoring five goals in the process. The 26-year-old also played five times in the Champions League during the 2020-21 campaign.
Chelsea have a strong squad who won the Champions League last season and also finished in the Premier League top four. Zouma is a good player, but he is not guaranteed a place in the Blues’ starting lineup. A move to West Ham would see him get more playing time. The Hammers will play in the Europa League this season and Willa also be aiming to challenge for the Premier League top four.
