Chelsea interested in PSG centre-back Presnel Kimpembe

Chelsea are interested in signing Presnel Kimpembe from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2022, according to L’Equipe, as relayed by Sport Witness. Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rüdiger and Andreas Christensen all are out of contract at Chelsea at the end of the season, and Kimpembe is one of the players the defending European champions are looking at as a potential replacement.

Kimpembe has been on the books of PSG since 2005 and has established himself as an important player in the first team. The 26-year-old France international central defender has won the Ligue 1 title four times among other major honours at PSG.

The 26-year-old is out of contract at PSG in the summer of 2024. Kimpembe as made 15 starts and one substitute appearance in Ligue 1 and has played five times in the Champions League so far this season.
