Argentine striker Hernan Crespo seeks an explanation from Inter, to why he has not been given a chance to play at the club.
Crespo, who was been left out of Inter’s Champions League squad, has barely featured for the side this season.
“I am convinced that I am still a football player and can give a great deal, I just need to wait for the right moment,†he told Sky Italia.
“I can’t wait to get back on that field. The first time I put the ball in the net, and sooner or later it will happen, you’ll see this crazy man running around San Siro even after the floodlights have been shut down.â€Â
He continued: “I had expectations last year and was an important figure in my first season. The bitterness I have is based on the fact I didn’t even get the chance to play badly, I just got dropped and that’s all.
“Considering how well I had done before, I expected like everyone else to be given three or four games and if I didn’t deliver then I would be understandably left out. I never even had that opportunity.
“Things changed this summer, Mourinho arrived and I already knew him. There were concrete offers that I turned down, told by the directors that I would be in a different situation. Instead, it got worse.
“I believe Mourinho is different to other Coaches, as he has the ability to make you train in a new and entertaining way. He’s also unique in the way he prepares for a match.â€Â
